Mr. Ch. Ananthareddy
Mr. Reddy obtained Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from REC Warangal and is the recipient of Gold Medal & also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management from The Indian Institute of Materials Management.
Mr. Reddy worked for a short period as a lecturer at JNTU-Hyd, before joining Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., as Management Trainee. He joined M/s. Nagarjuna Steels as a Quality Manager in 1977 and became Chief – Metallurgist before moving to M/s. Nagarjuna Signode in the year 1982 and worked as a Plant Manager. Joined M/s Pennar Steels Limited in the Year 1986.
Mr. Reddy joined Pennar Industries from its inception (1986) and worked in various departments and was appointed as Executive Director in October 2000 and became Vice-Chairman in the Year 2012. The company was severely impacted with high debt and the slowdown in the Indian economy resulting in Pennar defaulting payment on all fronts. The net worth turned to negative and was referred to BIFR.
Under these difficult conditions, Mr. Reddy took charge of the company and was instrumental in turning around the company successfully with his dedicated team. Within a short span, the negative net-worth turned to Rs. 320 Crore positive and term debt was also brought down from Rs. 220 Crores to Rs. 12 Crores.
The turnover, which was at Rs. 76 Crores in the year 2001, has grown to Rs.1200 Crores in the Year 2011-12 in a span of 10 years.
Mr. Reddy is also instrumental in developing a wide range of products in Cold Forming, Cold Rolling, Precision Tubes, and Engineering Components for Automobiles & White Goods industry. He has also introduced high strength profiles of Stainless Steel & Corten Steel for Indian Railway Wagons & Coaches.
With Mr. Reddy’s clear vision, Pennar has transformed from a basic cold rolling company to a heavy and versatile engineering company with a diversified product portfolio catering to a number of segments. While diversifying into various product portfolios, Pennar has forayed into Railway segment supplying some of the Cold-Formed sections by replacing the conventional HR sections and today the Company is supplying large quantities of Stainless Steel Formed sections / fabricated products for Railway Coaches & Wagons.
Shri. Ch. Ananthreddy has been awarded as “Manager of the Year ” by Hyderabad Management Association (HMA) for his outstanding services as Managing Director during the Year 2010.
After retiring from Pennar Industries as Vice Chairman, at the age of 67 years with a group of technocrats having vast experience has envisioned a new industry with the name of “Kartikeya Industries Private Limited” and the vision became a reality in 2014 when the factory was established at Morangapally village, Vikarabad district at a sprawling space of 15 acres.
Within a short period, Kartikeya Industries has emerged as a big player in roll forming and Railway segments increasing year on year turnover at a rate of 60%. Kartikeya group has already reached a turnover of Rs. 180 Crores in a span of 6 years and looking forward to reach great heights and new horizons under his stewardship and able guidance.

Chandrashekhar Harakere Gunda Shastry
Mr. Chandrashekhar Shastry is the Managing Director of Team- Ananthagiri Industries Private Limited. A Graduate in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Engineering, Mysore. An industry expert with more than 33 years of proven record in PEB Engineering and Business Development.
Prior to Team- Ananthagiri Industries, Mr. Shastry worked as Chief Executive Officer in Shree Prefab Steel Private Limited, Ahmedabad, where he is responsible for the P & L and re-engineering the process flow of the Organization.
Mr. Shastry started his career as a Lecturer in Civil Engineering, in SJ College of Engineering, Mysore until 1994. Later, he joined as Design Engineer in Zamil Steel, KSA, and then moved to Dubai and started working as a Senior Design Engineer in Emirates Building Systems, Dubai, UAE, till 2000.
Being a Design Superintendent, where he is responsible for Estimation and Design Activities, along with that marketed and contributed immensely in building the brand KIRBY. Later promoted to different levels in various departments until 2004 and then moved to Navi Mumbai, where he joined as a General manager in Tiger Steel India, a subsidiary of Tiger Group, Sharjah, UAE.
Tata Blue Scope Limited, Pune, is a joint venture between Tata Steel and Bluescope steel, where he joined in 2005 as a Chief Operating Officer and then functioned as Vice-President until 2010, later joined in PhenixVP, Ahmedabad and was responsible for Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Product Development, and Project Management. In 2011, he moved to the infrastructure division where he worked in Interarch Building Products Private Limited, Noida as a Chief Executive Officer and Harsco India Private Limited, Hyderabad as a Country Head, where the primary responsibility is P & L of the India Operations($10m turnover pa).
Mr. Shastry operated as a Partner and Director for Executive 81HR Solutions Private Limited, Bangalore/Hyderabad. Later, he worked for Aster Building Solutions Private Limited, Hyderabad as a Chief Executive Officer, where he was responsible for P & L of the organization and Business Development for 4 years.
